Job Details

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territories and managing relationships with key accounts.
  • Develops and fosters business relationships with all customers.
  • Works with senior management, operations, purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to recommend sales and marketing strategies.
  • Identify global business opportunities and generate profitable sales.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to support increased sales and revenue growth.
  • Prospect and manage relationships with key accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with operational staff to ensure client needs are met.
  • Recommend sales and marketing strategies to achieve targeted growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate a computer.
  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Requires travel.
  • Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Requires regular and punctual attendance.

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated sales success and knowledge of sales concepts.
  • Strong understanding of business and in-depth knowledge of products and services.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance laws.
  • Intermediate internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications.
  • Domestic and international travel required.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Other software skills as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Four-year college degree with a preference for degrees in business, economics, or engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years global sales experience.
  • Minimum 15 years industry experience preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
