About the Role
The Company is seeking an Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Investment Banking Vice President to join their team. This senior-level position is focused on advising clients on various equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, convertibles, and private placements. The successful candidate will also be involved in strategic assignments such as spin-offs and split-offs. The role requires a strategic advisor who can facilitate equity capital formation and will involve close coordination with the investment banking team, as well as internal and external partners, to guide clients through the equity capital raising process. Applicants for the VP - ECM role at the company should have a minimum of 6 years' of experience in equity capital markets or a related investment banking field. A background in the financial services industry, particularly within investment banking, is essential. The role demands an independent, self-motivated professional with a strong interest in technology and emerging growth industries, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is adept at real-time market interaction. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to conduct in-depth analysis, and a proven track record of clear and concise client interaction. A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business administration field is preferred, and the candidate must be willing to obtain Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses within 90 days of the start date.
