  • Assist with front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing payments as needed.
  • Provide compassionate and professional care to both pets and their owners.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant, Technician, or in a similar animal care role preferred.
  • Strong passion for animal care and well-being.
  • Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of veterinary procedures, medical terminology, and animal care.
  • Ability to lift and restrain animals, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, and evenings. Weekend rotation required.
  • Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude toward animals and their owners.

Shirlington Animal Hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 2:00pm.

We are closed on Sunday. We do not provide any boarding or grooming.

Experience with Avimark preferred but not required.
