RSM is seeking a Director to join our Financial Due Diligence team within our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. This dynamic role involves working with our award-winning Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) advisory team, servicing corporate and private equity clients. Our M&A group provides comprehensive services, including readiness and diligence pre-close, transaction integration, and execution. Our TAS team comprises seasoned professionals offering buy-side and sell-side financial, technology, and operational diligence services and advice.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage multiple challenging financial due diligence engagements related to acquisitions and divestitures involving private equity and strategic corporate buyers and sellers.
  2. Develop and deliver high-quality planning approaches with timely and responsive services that meet or exceed client expectations.
  3. Utilize business development skills to expand transaction advisory services work.
  4. Identify new business opportunities and enhance go-to-market strategies.
  5. Lead teams by establishing vision, providing direction, motivating members, fostering trust, leveraging diverse views, and coaching staff.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance.
  2. Approximately 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in financial due diligence.
  3. Proven success in building and growing a Transaction Advisory Service Practice.
  4. Experience with Big Four or similar consulting firms.
  5. Experience servicing private equity groups.
  6. Experience developing and supervising staff on engagements and in their careers.
  7. Thorough knowledge or proven success in a professional services firm or large consultancy.
  8. Ability to identify and address client needs, develop relationships, and understand client businesses.
  9. Up-to-date industry knowledge, especially regarding Transaction and Advisory Services and Private Equity groups.
  10. High integrity and confidentiality.
  11. Ability to travel 10-15% domestically and nationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. CPA certification.
  2. Master's degree preferred.

The salary range for this role is $146,100 - $293,700 . Compensation is based on experience, skills, certifications, location, and other factors. Selected individuals will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
