Talent Acquisition Specialist - Early Careers

Our Talent Acquisition team is seeking an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us in our Downtown Chicago office. In this role, you'll play a key part in helping to shape the next generation of civil engineers by recruiting college students for internships and entry-level full-time roles. You'll work closely with managers and the Talent Acquisition team to understand hiring needs and build strong connections with schools across the country, boosting our employer brand along the way.

Our team enjoys a hybrid work schedule, balancing two days in our Downtown Chicago office and three days of remote flexibility.

The Impact You Will Have
  • Collaborate with managers and regional talent acquisition partners to identify hiring needs.
  • Take ownership of implementing innovative sourcing strategies to attract and discover top talent for entry-level roles.
  • Post and manage Internship and Entry-level jobs on ATS, Handshake, Simplicity, and other job boards.
  • Launch recruiting campaigns to connect with students for job openings, career fairs, and events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges and universities nationwide.
  • Interact with students across various external channels, including LinkedIn, Handshake, campus events, and employee referrals.
  • Strengthen our employer brand through effective campus outreach.
  • Prepare teams for cyclical campus career fairs.
  • Execute the end-to-end early career recruiting cycle from attraction through to onboarding.
  • Participate in team meetings to share candidate updates, progress, and strategies, highlighting opportunities and successes to help hiring teams make informed decisions.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in customer-facing roles.
  • 1-2 years of recruitment experience, with campus recruitment experience being a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a servant-leadership mentality.
  • Excellent time management skills, demonstrated in dynamic and rapidly changing settings.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to leverage technology in recruitment efforts.

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the State of Illinois Pay Transparency Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.

Illinois Pay Range: $60,000$75,000 USD
