Amex GBT Ovation Specialized Travel Consultants work in a high-touch service environment to book travel and accommodation for top clients. The role involves advising and arranging travel for VIP corporate business customers, booking domestic and international business travel including air, road, rail, and accommodations. Communication is done via telephone, messaging (chat), e-mail, and back office systems. Consultants act as trusted advisors using travel expertise to provide advice and sell additional services while adhering to company travel policies. The role requires working individually and as a team to meet business and account-specific goals such as customer satisfaction and service metrics. Candidates should have previous travel experience, preferably in corporate business travel, with knowledge of fares and ticketing rules, native GDS expertise (Sabre), strong communication skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to resolve customer issues independently. The position requires flexibility to work shifts between 8 AM to 9 PM Eastern Time Monday to Friday. The role is remote, allowing work from home.
