Find your fit — and your future. The Senior Merchant of US/CAN Men's Tops develops product strategies and assortments that inspire and acquire customers. You will manage the full product lifecycle, working with your team to select optimal product assortments that support seasonal selling, identify product launch dates, and manage exit strategies. The Senior Merchant will partner across teams including Global Merchandising, Planning, Brand Experience, Marketing and Site Merchandising to create and execute revenue driving product strategies with cluster, global and strategic brand priorities across all channels. You will lead the Men's Tops Merchandising team by setting the category vision, long range growth initiatives and product architecture to meet and exceed financial goals and consumer expectations in line with brand vision. You will inspire a consumer-focused, growth-minded, and team-oriented approach while driving key growth initiatives. About the Job Create seasonal product strategies and assortments for total Men's Bottoms. Create product lifecycle strategies that align with consumer preferences. Partner with Promotions, Pricing & Analytics team to develop and execute promotional strategies that align with topline financial goals while maximizing margin. Collaborate with Global Merchandising to ensure Men's Bottoms product needs are met through global line offerings. Advocate for the needs of the USCA Men's customer via briefings, monthly product performance reviews and global line launch. Engage partners across Planning, Site Merchandising, Marketing and Brand Experience to inspire understanding to and execution of a clear product POV across all channels. Drive segmentation at category, channel, and tier level to create distinction and sustainable growth across all channels for Men's customers. Analyze business performance and present weekly business results to leadership, organizing and formatting data into clear reports that provide guidance on product performance, successes, challenges and lead short-term and long-term action. Direct and participate in market and consumer research; leverage in-depth knowledge of customer preferences, the USCA marketplace, product, and competitor insights to create a long-term category vision, produce seasonal frameworks and capitalize on trends. Cultivate talent, coach high achievement levels and foster continuous improvement while promoting the team's professional development. Travel throughout the marketplace to understand brand opportunities. Report to the Senior Director, US/CAN Men's Merchandising About You 7+ years direct merchandising/buying experience working at an apparel manufacturer, retailer, or marketer. Working knowledge of apparel Merchandising and ability to create a long-term strategic vision. Can determine “real” needs and root cause issues, looking beyond the obvious, to develop counter-measures and solutions that move strategic goals forward and improve team efficiency. Partnered with peers and partners to establish strategy & KPIs, work through different opinions, and drive work forward to meet commitments and goals. Experience managing complex, projects; ability to gain support for projects and make progress when an initiative is stalled by using a combination of individual ownership and indirect influence. Managed, trained and mentoedr to their team and managers/eaders in other departments; Modeled leadership behaviors for team and peers; has "courageous conversations" when needed. Recognized as the expert for their target consumer. This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $119,800 - $177,200 per year . We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
