We're hiring: Quality Data Analytics Specialist

Location: Corporate Headquaters in Cherry Hill, NJ

Employment Type: Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

Responsibilities

The Quality Data Analytics Specialist (QDAS) provides clinical, quality and experience analysis, to ensure individuals we serve receive safe, high quality of care and a best in class experience. The QDAS plays a crucial role in ensuring continuous quality improvement by collecting, reporting, and analyzing relevant data. This position also involves providing guidance and consultation to leadership regarding compliance with processes, policies, and practices, and making recommendations for improvement. Additionally, the QDAS will assess performance monitoring, implement improvement plans, and maintain strong relationships with leadership and staff to foster ongoing improvement in provider services.

1. Utilizing Performance Analytics tools and other available systems such as Power BI, the QDAS will have the ability to collaborate with program leaders, corporate administrators and clinical providers analyze large amounts of data to identify trends and patterns, ensure accuracy, investigate variances, as well as discover opportunities for improvement.

2. The QDAS will develop on-going reports to support new organizational initiatives, efficiency of report design, and complete documentation of process, to facilitate automation and cross training to other members of the team.

3. This position will also work closely with key stakeholders to provide actionable insights to enable informed decision making, identify issues and monitor the strategic initiatives of the organization

4. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from small to midsize projects, to development of larger more complex projects related to organizational strategic initiatives.

5. The QDAS will develop metrics and report key quality and safety metrics to accurately demonstrate improvement in safety and quality across the organization.

6. Monitor standards of practice to ensure compliance with codes of internal and external regulatory and accrediting agencies including:

a. CARF

b. NJ and Federal Codes (i.e.: DDD, OSHA)

c. Professional review organizations

7. The QDAS will independently execute assigned project tasks for approved projects.

8. The QDAS will be a leading influence improving targeted outcomes in projects using various improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, PDSA, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

9. This position will serve as a resource for the other department staff as well as program leaders.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with two or more years of data analytics and performance improvement.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year experience in a nonprofit setting is strongly preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate ability to analyze large amounts of data, and present in a meaningful format.
  • Knowledge of performance improvement methodologies and principles (e.g. Plan Do Study Act (PDSA), barrier analysis, etc).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), Access, PowerPoint and strong analytical skills required.
  • Knowledge and experience with quality improvement processes and approaches.

  • Accurate attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

The current hiring range for this position is: $60,000 - $68,000
