Lago Vista Animal Clinic is looking for an animal lover to join our team as a Professional Groomer. We offer luxury boarding and grooming services to the Lago Vista area and are searching for a staff member who loves working with dogs and has prior grooming experience. This is a full-time role comprised of 10-hour shifts. We are seeking a groomer to work Monday-Thursday. To be considered for this role, candidates must have prior grooming experience with a variety of dog breeds and sizes. You are responsible for all grooming services, including:

• Bathing, drying, grooming/hair cutting as requested by client, styling, brush out, flea treatments, clipping/filing nails, gland expression, de-matting, ear hair removal, brushing teeth, and cleaning up
• Keeping your area clean throughout the day and at the end of the shift
• Engaging with customers to ensure their requests are understood
• Evaluating the condition of the pet and addressing any styling/grooming concerns
• Must have prior knowledge and comfort with working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Must have prior knowledge of breed grooming standards
• Certificate in grooming is a plus
