Denver Health, in collaboration with the University of Colorado and Children’s Hospital Colorado, is seeking an academic pediatric radiologist at the level of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor. Responsibilities include clinical radiology practice, nurturing educational programs for students, residents, and fellows, and participating in research or scholarship portfolios. The candidate will deliver outpatient and inpatient pediatric radiology services including MR, CT, US, radiography, and basic pediatric procedures such as fluoroscopy. There is an emphasis on advanced, collaborative care in acute settings, especially related to the ED and trauma service. Clinical time at Children’s Hospital Colorado may be considered. Remote work-from-home shifts are possible depending on departmental needs. The radiologist will participate in education of medical students, residents, and fellows. The department values patient-centered care and collaboration with pediatrics, surgery, hospital medicine, and primary care. The radiologist reports to the Department Chair of Radiology. Candidate qualifications include an M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent, board certification in Radiology, fellowship training or extensive pediatric radiology experience, and eligibility for Colorado licensure.
