BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) for a part-time position, providing care for 68 hours per day. This client receives services 7 days a week, but we are especially looking for someone who can commit to weekend shifts. The role offers 1216 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours. The client is returning home under hospice care, and the primary focus is on ensuring comfort, dignity, and support with daily needs during this time.

- Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.
Role Responsibilities: - Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
- Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in the clients health, behavior, and needs.
- Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
Requirements: - A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
- Reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license with Auto Insurance.
- Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
- Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
