Job Description PART-TIME RECORDS CLERK
WOODSTOCK POLICE DEPARTMENT
The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a part-time position of Records Clerk with the Woodstock Police Department.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible to accurately input, securely maintain and efficiently retrieve all records pertaining to criminal activity, arrests and other official police business. Position also performs related clerical and customer service tasks. The work is performed under the supervision of the Deputy Chief.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
One (1) year of work experience in a Police Department, Sherriff's Office, Law Office, Court, or a related confidential/law/legal setting.
High school diploma/equivalent.
Solid computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite of products and other databases.
Extreme attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with matters appropriately.
Must pass department background and criminal history checks.
Please also refer to the Job Description (attached) for the Required Job Competencies which are also detailed. In an effort to make the applications for this position more manageable, we have moved some of the preferred qualifications to be minimum qualifications.
Salary & Benefits:
The pay range for this part-time, non-exempt/hourly position is $21.07 - $23.18/hour. The position will work no more than 29 hours per week on average. Benefits include an IMRF pension, prorated vacation, holiday, and sick time, decreasing term life insurance and choice of two (2) optional employee paid vision insurance plans.
