Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Banking Vice President to join our dynamic Mid Cap Investment Banking team specializing in Media & Communications.

Job Summary

As a Vice President, you will develop strong relationships with corporate and financial institution clients, working across various banking products including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and equity and debt capital raises.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact and lead banker on deals.
• Coordinate and review the work of junior bankers to facilitate deal execution.
• Refine marketing and execution materials for maximum impact.
• Oversee financial modeling and projections.
• Identify and manage deal risks.
• Collaborate with external and internal parties (lawyers, accountants, counterparties).
• Lead negotiations and client interactions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant experience in investment banking front office roles.
• Experience training junior bankers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel modeling and valuation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Independent project management skills and high responsibility level.
• Professional interaction with clients.
• Understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks.
