Summary:

Seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with expertise in machinery and automation design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 5+ years of experience
• Strong SolidWorks skills
• Experience with machinery, automation, and tooling design
• Experience with pneumatic systems, linear actuators, and precision linear motion components
• Proficient with 2D CAD software

Preferred Skills:

• Vault Product Data Management management experience
• Coordinated motion design to support programming
• Familiarity with CADLink ERP Link software
• 2 years of supervisory experience

Responsibilities:

• Produce equipment designs for machines and tooling
• Provide engineering support throughout the build phase to improve functionality, manufacturability, and maintainability while reducing cost
• Facilitate communication among customers and sales team ensuring specifications, budgets, and deadlines are understood
• Review designs for technical accuracy, manufacturability, maintainability within project budget and timing constraints
• Use CAD software to create preliminary and detailed product drawings
• Produce specifications for products; choose raw materials and components for production
• Use ERP software to monitor project budget and timing goals
