Marketing Assistant- Investment Management - Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Marketing Assistant position to join a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Marketing Assistant role helps ensure the smooth execution of daily marketing operations and provides administrative assistance to channel partners, enhancing the firm’s presence and reputation in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have 0- 1 year of marketing experience including internship experience, preferably in the financial services industry.

Marketing Assistant- Investment Management - Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Marketing Assistant position to join a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Marketing Assistant role helps ensure the smooth execution of daily marketing operations and provides administrative assistance to channel partners, enhancing the firm’s presence and reputation in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have 0- 1 year of marketing experience including internship experience, preferably in the financial services industry.

This is a 1+ year contract position that will pay $25-27/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position is required to be onsite 3 days per week in their Boston office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in updating and maintaining channel marketing materials using internal workflow tools.
• Partner with Senior Marketing Managers to ensure all materials meet brand standards and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and manage marketing collateral inventory, coordinating with production, MarCom, procurement teams, and updating digital platforms (intranet, iPad app, website).
• Collaborate with the Communications Management and Creative teams to track inventory and maintain project timelines.
• Submit materials for compliance review, maintain audit trails, and track status to ensure timely updates.
• Research and gather background information for Marketing Managers to support project planning and execution.
• Assist in the development and distribution of digital communications, such as email templates (event invitations, newsletters, thought leadership content), and manage distribution lists in coordination with the CRM team.
• Support event marketing efforts by coordinating contracts and implementing integrated promotional activities across email, social media, and on-site branding.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is required.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred (internship experience considered for candidates with less than 1 year).
• Adobe Workfront experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project management tools is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
