Job Description
Leasing Agent / Assistant Community Manager
Responsibilities of the Leasing Agent:
· Showing apartments
· Taking telephone inquiries
· Greeting prospects
· Taking applications, deposits and verifying all information to be true and correct
· Follow up of prospects and current residents needs
· Posting and monitoring ads
· Assisting the Property Manager in maintaining all aspects of property operations
· Ensures the efficient operation of the property
· Evictions of delinquent residents
Qualifications for the Leasing Agent:
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS
At least 3-6 months experience working in residential property management as a Leasing Agent, and the following skills are preferred:
· Sales
· Customer service
· Strong computer literacy with MS Word, Excel email and internet
· AMSI, Yardi or Rent Roll software is strongly preferred
· Exceptional organization and time management skills required
· Work well under pressure
· Computer literacy, if applicable
· Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
