Job Summary:

We are looking for a day shift Forklift Operator for one of our newest Distribution Centers in San Bernardino, CA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner. These activities will be conducted while ensuring and enhancing safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping standards.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Administer and operate the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment
  • Coordinate receipt, storage and shipment of materials, while ensuring accurate reporting in accordance with established procedures
  • Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods
  • Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, maintenance and protection of the facility and equipment
  • Perform inventory cycle counts as needed
  • Responsible for compliance, practice and observance of all written safety rules, policies and procedures presented by the company
  • Assist in department projects as needed
  • Utilization of the RF system
  • Reasonably familiar with all pipe yard stock items and their location is a plus
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Able to work outside in all types of weather

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must be licensed to operate forklift truck, pallet truck and other material handling equipment
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
  • Successful candidate must complete a CTPAT background check
Working Conditions:
  • Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing and lifting
  • Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required
  • Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp tools
Pay :
  • Pay: $24.75/hour
  • Monday-Friday day shift
