Premier Quantitative Consulting, Inc. (PQC, Inc.) is a small economic and financial consulting firm seeking a full-time financial analyst with two to five years of experience in the financial or business sector. The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with a degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, or a related field. The candidate should possess strong quantitative skills, a strong work ethic, a curious mind, and a desire to join a first-class team of consultants.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with business valuation assignments
• Develop cost of capital analyses
• Participate in the review of financial statements for individuals and organizations
• Assist with the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative data collections
• Develop quantitative economic and financial models
• Research and draft memos, literature reviews, and industry analyses
• Participate in business development activities and contribute to business growth

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.2
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to take initiative and learn new tasks on the job, including independent learning and research
• Comfort with both quantitative analysis and business writing
• Ability to write concisely and effectively, translating complicated analyses for a wide audience
• Exposure to business valuation and financial modeling, including discounted cash flow analyses
• Experience researching and drafting comprehensive literature reviews and economic and financial background reports
• Curious and creative thinker
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
• Ability to think creatively and examine issues from all sides
• Ability to pass drug and background screening
