Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Estimator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial renovation projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong grasp of construction means, methods, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial renovation projects from concept through final bid.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and scope reviews.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing records.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and value engineering discussions.
• Assist in developing bid strategies and schedules to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of estimating experience within the commercial renovations sector.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools (e.g., PlanSwift, Procore, Microsoft Excel).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, scopes, and building systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
