Senior Technical Recruiter/Trainer @ New York Technology Partners | Resume Writer

Location—onsite/NJ/travel expected

Responsibilities:

Assess financial crimes compliance programs and implement recommended changes, controls, and solutions

Provide subject matter expertise in anti-money laundering and sanctions programs

Develop intellectual property and thought leadership on relevant financial crime topics

Lead teams on engagements of various sizes, ensuring successful project delivery

Train and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth

Lead engagement planning and management, including budget and risk management

Actively contribute to client-facing project work, consistently producing high-quality deliverables

Develop and own Financial Crime propositions and delivery methodologies related to sanctions

Motivate and inspire teams to achieve high standards of deliverables

Demonstrate a keen interest in the development of team members' professional growth

Assimilate complex data into actionable reports and summaries, ensuring clarity and conciseness

Deliver high-quality, professional deliverables within strict deadlines

Perform financial, statistical, and data analytics to support client service teams

Maintain flexibility in assigned tasks to accommodate changing deadlines, deliverables, and priorities

Consistently seek opportunities for professional development and embrace challenges outside of comfort zones

Effectively relate with clients at all levels, fostering strong relationships

Oversee the efforts of teams of various sizes, providing guidance and support

Participate in business development initiatives, including targeting external clients and attending industry conferences and speaking engagements

Serve as the key contact for client communications, demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills with minimal review from senior management

Support sales initiatives by leading bids, proposal responses, and identifying business development opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, law, business)

8 to 10 years of experience in assessing financial crimes compliance programs and implementing changes and controls

Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Proactive mindset with the ability to develop thought leadership and intellectual property

Demonstrated success in business development and sales initiatives

Experience leading teams on engagements of various sizes

Strong project management skills, including budget and risk management

Ability to train, mentor, and develop junior team members

Proficiency in assimilating complex data into actionable reports and summaries

Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to perform data analytics

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, professional deliverables within tight deadlines

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities and deliverables

Commitment to professional development and a willingness to step outside of comfort zones

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively with clients and colleagues

Experience overseeing teams of various sizes is preferred.
