Responsibilities
Verify dental insurance benefits (manage 3rd-party verification service)
Present treatment plans and financial options clearly to patients
Schedule and coordinate treatment appointments
Follow up with patients who miss appointments or have incomplete treatment
Manage and optimize provider schedules to meet productivity goals
Collaborate with the clinical team for smooth patient flow
Assist patients with financial arrangements and paperwork
Handle all consent, policy, and exit documentation
Check patients out and ensure excellent service throughout their visit
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards
Support the team and dentist with daily operational needs
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of experience in a dental office (required)
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and insurance
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to build rapport quickly with patients
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Professional appearance and demeanor
Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Basic math skills to calculate estimates and insurance benefits
