Our property management company oversees the operations of about 300 single family homes and town homes. Areas included are nearby our Westlake Village office as well as other Conejo Valley locations, Simi Valley and West San Fernando Valley. We’re currently in need of an ambitious Assistant Property Manager working from our office. Our properties are meticulously maintained and efficiently controlled so that our clients and their tenants receive the best possible service. As a representative of our company, you’d be service-oriented, friendly with a can-do attitude. The job opening is open due to an internal promotion.

Assistant Property Manager responsibilities:

  • Assist managers with administrative tasks
  • Assist in showing available rental homes and processing applications
  • Respond to tenant questions and concerns in a timely service-oriented manner
  • Contact tenants to receive overdue rent or to discuss other issues that require immediate attention
  • Assist in managing the homes maintenance and inspections
  • Establish rapport with tenants so they always feel valued and appreciated

Assistant Property Manager Requirements & Skills:

  • REQUIRED-Active Real Estate License under our broker only (DRE rule) , Reliable auto, valid driver’s license and insurance
  • High school diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years’ experience preferred in residential leasing or property management
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, attention to detail, good computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook. Property management software knowledge helpful.
  • Well-developed customer service etiquette and skills (written and verbal)
  • Professional business image, positive attitude, self-motivated
  • Personal Credit and background check must be in good standing. Non-smoking office.
  • Weekly hours may vary between 30 to 40 hours per week
