Lipton CPA Associates is a boutique CPA and Forensic Accounting firm, started in 1990. The firm, rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau, is “full service” which provides the client with the benefit and convenience of us coordinating all their tax and accounting needs for maximum savings. Also Certified in Financial Forensics, we use these additional skills and resources to look “behind” the numbers, not just “at” the numbers.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to provide support in our Florham Park office.

Responsibilities

· Perform general clerical duties (organize, scan, send documents, order supplies, organize office, set up new clients, electronic and hard copy filing)

· Perform data entry assignments into a variety of software systems

· Communicate with clients and potential clients by email and phone. Coordinate and schedule meetings

· Position requires attention to detail and analytical skills, flexible and positive attitude

· Assist with Monthly Billing

Qualifications

· At least 1-3 years of proven experience as an admin assistant or in a relevant role. Office or customer service experience required

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to prioritize tasks

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, SharePoint

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

· Bachelor’s degree required

· On the job training for accounting/tax terminology will be provided

Compensation

Base salary is generally $20/hr to $28/hr plus benefits. Exact compensation will be based on various factors, including individual education, qualifications and experience
