Salary: $28.85-$31.25 per hour

Accounts Payable Coordinator

Reports to: Controller, Accounts Payable Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week, with some flexibility on specific days/hours

Job Location: 3500 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, OH 43207. This position is primarily in person with remote capabilities.

This position is eligible for Company benefits.

General Overview:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator will provide support to the Finance Team by assisting the Accounts Payable Manager. This person should demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Accounts Payable Manager with:
  • Processing incoming Accounts Payable mail and email
  • Obtaining proper invoice approvals
  • Processing weekly check runs
  • Reconciling vendor statements
  • Handling Vendor Inquiries
  • Ensuring vendor files and tax documents are current
  • Processing Truck Tickets
  • Maintaining and regularly updating department SOPs
• Maintains Supplier and Subcontractor Lien Waivers
• Collects and files Subcontractor I-29s
• Knows and adheres to all Company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Accounts Payable functions required
• Experience with accounting software, Sage preferred
• Familiarity with Ohio Sales & Use Tax laws, and the Construction Industry preferred
  
• Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment and be proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  
• Must be trustworthy and comfortable working with confidential information within a privately held company
• Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while processing large amounts of data
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, ability to form effective working relationships with others
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. (George J. Igel & Co., Inc. is a BWC Drug-Free Workplace and tests for marijuana)
• Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire
• Must have access to reliable transportation
